I went to a benefit concert with my son and Radiohead was there, they sounded good, I don't know all of their music.

The Cinematic Orchestra
"Everyday" is an amazing album. Their "Live at the Royal Albert Hall" performance is wonderful. And their score for the old Russian silent movie "The Man With A Movie Camera" is amazing.

I would consider them the best and most important and influential band/artist of this generation, with the Beatles and Led Zeppelin fighting for the last generation.
Their music changes quite dramatically from album to album, but I'd recommend giving a few songs a listen: paranoid android (above), Lotus Flower (below), Weird Fishes (below), and probably Just (below).

I like them all basically but Ten Years Gone is probably it, and my favorite lesser-known song is The Rover. You?

I prefer Dustin Kensrue's solo stuff. I sing this one to my wife when she's in a bad mood.

I'm with you, Zeppelin is the best there's ever been. I hope nobody ever comes along and tops them simply because I'd become a male groupie and ruin my life. The Rover's my favorite for sure, followed by When the Levee Breaks.

Led Zeppelin, no questions asked. That's wallpaper size by the way, you're welcome.
As far as currently active musicians, I'd say the Black Keys and whatever crazy thing Jack White is involved in at a given time.

I took my name from the Sisters of Mercy's lead singer, Andrew Eldritch. I love them so.
I'm also a HUGE fan of The Decemberists

I can't narrow it down to just one, but lately it's been:
and
(Dr. Graffin has the most powerful index finger in Punk Rock)
and this guy — Sir Paul McCartney said he was one of the best songwriters alive:
*don't laugh, but this song gives me goosebumps and the end sort of chokes me up a little*
And if you don't like the Clash, you're sort of not allowed to be my friend:
And it can only take Toots (of the Maytals' fame — the inventor of the word "Reggae") to do a proper rocksteady cover of Radiohead:
And while we're on the ska/rocksteady/reggae kick, one of my favorites — I've seen them a dozen or more times — hung out with them a few times — and always a good show. I missed them a few weeks ago in Charlotte because we didn't have the money for a show but damn. Last time I saw them they played for 2.5 hours and it was amazing. They started their second encore with a cover of "Like a Virgin," that was just amazing.
That's about it for now...

Type O Negative. Peter is sadly no longer with us, but I was fortunate enough to know him—he was an amazing, complicated, hilarious man. October Rust is my favourite album of theirs.

I might see if I can see him somewhere else this year.

He only released tour dates into March, so I have to wait a bit. If he's half as good as Elvis Costello, I'll be happy. I suspect he'll be better.

I've fallen in love with Tame Impala, they capture the classic psychadelic sound so perfectly and the songwriting is just top notch.
